Introducing Domino’s for Good:
Our ESG approach
“Domino’s intends to work with our communities to develop measurable targets in the areas important to them. The next step in delivering, starts now.” – Domino’s Pizza Enterprises Ltd Annual Report, 2019
Every Domino’s team member is very driven to do the right thing.
Traditionally, our people in stores and head offices have sought to be responsible community members, providing employment, serving hot, fresh, quality meals, and supporting worthy community initiatives. Initiatives that deliver economic savings for stores invariably have delivered environmental benefits by reducing our footprint: from electric bikes to water savings devices and energy efficiency measures.
At Domino’s, one of our core values is “We do the right thing, because it’s the right thing to do”.
We recognise the increasing importance of communicating ‘doing the right thing’ to our communities and shareholders. This document is a starting point that captures all the work we have done so far. For example, our longstanding policy has been to avoid marketing to children, but instead to offer adult customers the freedom to choose from a wide variety of menu options that offer indulgent health.
This portal; Domino’s for Good, captures the work we have delivered so far. Much of it is not ‘new’, but newly documented, recognising that it’s important not only to do the right thing, but to share these policies and initiatives with our stakeholders.
But it won’t stop there.
We understand the importance of continuously progressing and improving. It is therefore our intention to continually update this website while we progress in our ESG journey.
It is our strong belief that our ESG approach will only be successful if we integrate this into the core of our business and culture and by doing so, ensure companywide commitment.
This starts with having a vision and strategy as a group, developing a baseline and measuring progress, ensuring legal compliance and proper (ESG) risk management and engaging with our internal and external stakeholders.
We look forward to sharing our achievements with you.
