DOMINO’S UNVEILS VEGAN CHEESY GARLIC BREAD (AU)
Vegans rejoice! Australia’s largest pizza maker, Domino’s, has announced it’s expanding its vegan offerings with the addition of Vegan Cheesy Garlic Bread to the menu this Monday 16 July 2018.
Domino’s CEO for Australia and New Zealand Nick Knight said the Company’s garlic bread is vegan friendly but now vegans can also enjoy the cheesy version of Domino’s most popular accompaniment.
“We’ve had great support and engagement from the vegan community on our dedicated Facebook group for vegan cheese enthusiasts, and have been seeing lots of suggestions that we should create a vegan friendly alternative to our cheesy garlic bread,” Mr Knight said.
“At Domino’s, we’re always hungry to be better and want to deliver the changes customers are asking for.
“We’re all about providing choice for our customers and want to give people options to suit their diet, which is why we are excited to expand our vegan offerings.”
Vegan cheese became a permanent pizza topping on Domino’s menu this year, following its unprecedented demand which saw stocks exhaust only a week after its initial release.
“The popularity of, and demand for, vegan products has increased considerably over the years so it’s great we are able to offer this high quality, non-GMO, plant-based and preservative free vegan cheese,” Mr Knights said.
“It’s also cholesterol free, making it the perfect, healthy indulgence.”
Mr Knight said transparency around the company’s ingredients is important to customers, which is why Domino’s has partnered with vegan cheese supplier Follow Your Heart to offer customers this great product.
“Our ongoing journey to provide customers with a menu we are proud of and one that offers more choices led us to finding the best in taste and melt after a long search of vegan cheese options.”
Vegan Cheesy Garlic Bread will be available in stores from Monday 16 July from $6.95 each, pick up.
